DiningOur charming dining room overlooks the garden creating the perfect aspect from which to enjoy a delicious breakfast to prepare you for your day.   In the evening it is ideal for a candlelit home cooked meal with soft easy listening music. Our guests often reflect on the great home-cooked food as being the very highlight of their stay, which is a wonderful compliment. Breakfast Breakfast is served between 7.45am and 9.15am weekdays and 8:15am - 9.30am at weekends. We provide a very full breakfast menu to suit everybody’s tastes, including vegetarians. We offer many different cereals, fresh fruit, porridge, as well as the traditional full English breakfast. Kippers, croissants, and breakfast muffins are also all on the daily menu. There are four different fresh fruit juices available, as well as plenty of choices of tea and coffee. If you have any special dietary requirements, please talk to us about this in advance of your stay. Evening meal  Dinner is served at 6:30pm We offer a 3 course home-cooked evening meal with tea or coffee & after-dinner mints to follow for just £19.50. If you would like dinner on your day of arrival, please let us know in advance. We cannot guarantee meals for those who have not let us know that they would like them the day before.
During your stay with us, the dinner menu will be on display at breakfast time, and we ask you to let us know your choices on an evening meal slip. Cream Teas In the summer we offer afternoon cream teas, to be enjoyed in our peaceful sunny garden. You will need to order these at breakfast time as your scones will be freshly baked that day.  Typical Breakfast Menu Porridge or Variety of cereals Grapefruit, prunes, or breakfast apricots Fresh fruit Yoghurts Grilled high quality sausages Grilled high quality bacon Eggs cooked to your choice: Fried, scrambled, boiled, poached or omelettes Sauteed mushrooms Fresh grilled tomatoes Baked beans Hash brown, potato cake, potato croqettes or bubble & squeak Hot brown or white toast English breakfast muffin or croissants There is also a vegetarian choice offered And for something different from the full English, why not try kippers or haddock with a poached egg & grilled tomato, or a cheese and mushroom omlette, a continental breakfast, or even pancakes & maple syrup! A selection of different teas and coffees are available as well as 4 different fruit juices EXAMPLE Evening Meal Menu Please note this only shows a selection of some of the meals we offer. Usually our menu consists of 2 or 3 choices for each course. In winter months there might be less selection, and in some cases, a set menu.
